Many patients pursuing aesthetic rehabilitations present with old
failing restorations, and teeth affected by wear, erosion, tooth loss,
irregular occlusion and periodontal disease. At the same time the patient’s
expectations for function longevity and cosmetic appearance are very high.
Dentists require additional knowledge and protocols to treatment
plan and complete comprehensive cases with synergistic occlusions.
Participants will be able to understand how to
- Assess the longevity risk factors of a complex case
- Approach cases affected by wear and anterior erosion
- Manage interdisciplinary treatment planning for a full mouth case
With two challenging cases as examples the lecturers will aim to present
- The value of working in interdisciplinary dental teams
- The importance of a comprehensive centrally managed treatment plan
- Workflows in phases for large dental rehabilitations
