Speakers

Kate is Professor/Honorary Consultant at UCLan /Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She has expertise in oral surgery, conscious sedation, medical emergency management, and dental education. She has taught undergraduate oral surgery in various academic institutions and is Postgraduate Lead and teaches/supervises postgraduate students (MSc Oral Surgery) at University of Central Lancashire. She trained in Maxillofacial Surgery in Yorkshire and held a Consultant post in Liverpool before the move to postgraduate education at UCLan. She is a BAOS and ABAOMS Council member, Chair of DSTG and is an Oral Surgery examiner for the Royal Colleges.
