Academic Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Dentistry, Barts Health NHS Trust
Dr (Katharine) Julia Hurry graduated from dentistry from King’s College London in 2019. During her undergraduate training, she enjoyed taking on the role of Treasurer and Sponsorship Co-ordinator for the KCL Dental Society. After graduation, she undertook her foundation dental training at 2 Green Dental in Crayford, where she still works part-time treating both paediatric and adult patients. Julia gained her Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2021. In her current role at QMUL, Julia balances her academic interests with clinical core training. She hopes to continue her training in paediatric dentistry as well as undertaking a doctoral fellowship. In her free-time, Julia volunteers with the Dental Wellness Trust to provide dental screening and treatment to children who do not otherwise have access to dental care.
