This session explores a structured approach to aesthetic treatment planning using the ABC framework. It emphasises the importance of assessing both functional and aesthetic factors before undertaking composite bonding, including occlusion, tooth position and guidance patterns. Dr Affan will demonstrate when alignment and whitening should precede contouring.
Aims
To introduce delegates to the Align, Brighten, Contour (ABC) approach for minimally invasive aesthetic treatment planning, with emphasis on assessing functional and aesthetic factors before composite bonding. The session aims to improve case selection, treatment sequencing and long-term predictability in anterior composite restorations.
