This presentation will explore the emerging relationship between diet and periodontal conditions, examining how dietary patterns and specific nutrients may influenceperiodontal inflammation and disease. Current evidence linking nutrition, systemic inflammation and periodontal health will be critically discussed, alongside findings from recent clinical research. The session will also consider whether dietary assessment and advice could have a meaningful role in contemporary periodontal care.
Aims
