Aims

Dental Therapists have an increasingly important role in improving access to dental care, partiularly within underserved and vulnerable populations. This session aims to provide an insight into the unique environment of prison dentistry. Attendees will gain an understanding of the dental therapists contribution to the wider dental team, the realities of delivering care in prisons, and professional development opportunities available through this rewarding career pathway.
