Faresh Desai graduated from the University of Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2002 and has almost 20 years' experience in surgical and restorative implantology, sinus and bone grafting, and IV sedation. He holds the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry (2011) and Diploma in Implant Dentistry with Advanced Certificate in Bone Grafting (2013), both from the Royal College of Surgeons (UK), plus the Diploma in Conscious Sedation from Newcastle University (2020). In 2023 he was awarded the Fellowship to the College of General Dentistry (UK). He has a particular interest in complex and full-arch rehabilitation, mentors in implantology and sedation, and is a key opinion leader for Straumann. Faresh is the clinical-director and co-founder of Ascent Dental Care, a Midlands-based group of private dental clinics.
