Kiren is a third-year Specialty Registrar in Special Care Dentistry (SCD) based in Birmingham. She completed her postgraduate dental degree at the University of Central Lancashire in 2020, was awarded the Diploma in Special Care Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and has recently passed her Membership in Special Care Dentistry examinations. She has published in the British Dental Journal and SAAD Digest, and has presented nationally and internationally on topics including cognitive behavioural therapy and treatment planning under general anaesthesia. Passionate about flying the flag for Special Care Dentistry, Kiren is committed to raising the profile of the specialty and supporting the next generation of clinicians. She represents the Midlands and East on the National Dental Specialty Engagement Forum, contributing to improvements in specialty training, and established a national tutorial group for SCD registrars to encourage collaboration and shared learning across the UK.
