Lukas Prüfer is a German-born researcher and PhD student in Image Guided Diagnosis and Therapy at the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s degree in Medical Technologies. His research focuses on digital dentistry, image-guided workflows, intraoral scanning, and three-dimensional accuracy assessment using CBCT and micro-CT. His current PhD work investigates the accuracy and clinical applicability of digital and conventional workflows in restorative and prosthetic dentistry, with a particular focus on post-endodontic restorations and internal fit analysis.
