Maha Aljefri is a Specialist Orthodontist who completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Bristol, followed by Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Following graduation, she gained broad clinical experience in both practice and hospital, including roles in oral and maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry, before pursuing specialist training in Orthodontics. She completed her postgraduate orthodontic training at King’s College London, where she was awarded her MSc in Orthodontics with Distinction. Her postgraduate research focused on the accuracy of interproximal reduction in orthodontic treatment, and she subsequently gained her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Alongside clinical practice, Maha has a strong interest in dental education and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education. She is passionate about making orthodontic concepts practical and accessible for clinicians and regularly contributes to professional education and training. She currently works across both private and NHS practice, treating a broad range of orthodontic cases using fixed appliances, clear aligners and contemporary orthodontic techniques.
