Maria's 40 years of experience as a clinician is invaluable and underpins her expertise in dental implants. Maria owns and is the principal of a state-of-the-art private dental, specialist referral and training facility in Oxford, Clinic 95. Additionally ,she is actively involved in training and mentoring colleagues in the field of implantology and is Programme Director of the Implant Courses at Tipton Training, overseeing both the PG Cert and Pg Dip courses and ongoing mentoring. Maria has been involved in the placement and restoration of dental implants since 1997. She has placed in excess of 7000 implants and completed over 300 cases of full arch immediate loading. Maria graduated from Birmingham University in 1985, and subsequently worked in associate and locum positions before running her own practice from 1990. Maria’s special interest is in dental implants which she has been performing for over 25 years, and she has attended training courses throughout the world, culminating in a Master’s degree in Implantology at Lille University Medical School in 2004. In 2006 Maria received a Certificate and Diploma of Honour for Clinical Radiological Anatomy of the head and neck. Maria also founded the Oxford Society of Oral Implantology in 2004 which has now been incorporated into the Advanced Dental Training arm of her practice at Clinic 95. Maria is a member of the British Dental Association, Association of Dental Implantology of which she is now recognized as an Associate Fellow, CGDent and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
