Martin is the Chief Executive of the British Dental Association, having been in the role since August 2018. He has overall responsibility for leading the BDA’s wide range of operational activities and advising its Board of Directors on strategic direction.
Before taking on his current role, Martin was Director of Member Services at the BDA, responsible for a wide range of the Association’s functions, including policy development, research and contract negotiations; communications and external relations; education and events; and member advisory services. Martin joined the BDA in 2013 from the British Medical Association, where he was the BMA’s Scottish Director.
