Dr Shandy Vijayan is an associate dentist and clinical lecturer at Barts and The London, with over a decade of experience across NHS and private sectors. She specialises in cosmetic and periodontal care and is deeply committed to dental education and mentoring. As Chief Operating Officer of the Dental Mums Network, Shandy leads with compassion and conviction. Her mission is to create a safe, empowering space for women in dentistry—especially mothers—where confidence is rebuilt, community is nurtured, and growth is celebrated. A mum of two, Shandy brings heart and purpose to everything she does, helping women navigate motherhood and career with courage, clarity and joy.
